Laurie McCaffrey, B.A. (Psychology), M.Sc. (Public Health)

Laurie McCaffrey is an independent evaluation consultant with over 25 years of experience in the health and human service sectors.

Since founding McCaffrey Consulting in 2001, Laurie has partnered with a wide range of clients, including universities, multiple orders of government and non-profit organizations. Her approach to evaluation is participatory and utilization focused, emphasizing the collection of credible information to inform program planning and continuous improvement. She works closely with other consultants and graduate students as needed to deliver tailored solutions for each unique assignment. 

Laurie is an active board member of the Canadian Evaluation Society Alberta/NWT Division, where she serves as the Professional Development and Events Director for the Edmonton region. She finds joy and healing in family, art and community, and is an active volunteer with the Strathearn Art Walk and Music Festival.
